  i'd like to work toward ensuring that the wts bans pedophiles from sharing in the door to door work out of consideration for the public.

  i'd like to ensure that this ban applied not just to those who have been convicted of pedophile activities but also to those who have secretly confessed to elders.

  would this subject be appropriate for an e-petition?

  Having a CRB check or each country's equivalent should be mandatory for all persons who go door to door and they should have a life-time ban on such work if they have ever been convicted of abusing children.

  evolution

  since my awakening from the mind control of the wts, it has been an exciting also frigthening journey of exploration and free thinking.. i would say, today i try to be open to anything, i ll go whatever direction facts show.

  while i`m no scientist, i think i have a glue about the scientific method.

  i also agree with the statemant, that some extraordinary claim needs extraordinary proof.. so far, it is a difficult question whether god exists or not, and probably in my lifetime i will not get a conclusive answer.. however, my concerns are about evolution, since even a confirmation of evolution does not necessarily exclude the existence of a god, it just proivdes an alternative explanation, in case there is no god.. even though i did not really read a book yet about evolution, i read other books of people, whose reasoning i can agree to, and they believe in evolution.. .

  A while back some atheists paid for an advertisement on London's red buses. I remember thinking back then how brave but foolhardy they were. Now I agree with them but it isn't always easy.

  12 weeks is the shortest amount of time I am aware of and that was for fornication and it was her second reinstatement for the same offence but different fella.

  1954 - 1968 jesus appeared in all publication pictures as a clean shaven short haired "witness" man....remember?.

  ....because he is shown that way in representations that are older then the traditional effeminate looking pictures...".

  field service hours have hit new records each year, but i am seeing less people working the territory.

  where is all the time spent, that people are putting in the field ministry?

  it's been close to ten years, since i have seen people working certain territories.

  I have lived here for 3 years now and have never once had witnesses knock on my door or post a tract etc through the letter box.

  We regularly get Mormons and chuggers so not sure what their excuse is.

  The first part of that paragraph stated :"Twisting the Scriptures to fit our own ideas can result in lasting harm". They have a nerve!

  this article from the newspaper in the latrobe area reffering to steven unthanks case is truly disturbing.

  its an affront and an insult to any and everyone who has participated in the ministry of jehovah`s witnesses over many, many years.talk about being thrown to the wolves.how low can this organization go in saving face at the expense of those whose loyalty and devotion is discarded for a perceived image.absolutely shocking.

  Hang on there a second, the fds does not exist so how does it "use" a corporation?

  Such a shame most JWs are never going to know what their leaders are actually saying.
